New Scissor Sisters (Co-Prod. by Calvin Harris)

The new Scissor Sisters single, 'Only the Horses' is huge. They got Calvin Harris to co-produce the track. It's one of their best to date. If this doesn't make them blow up, I don't know what will. The song is very catchy + produced very well. I also found 2 remixes that I wan to share with you. I found a good drum & bass remix, by Cyantific & Dimension. I also found a funky, experimental remix by Brodinski. I really like that one, but not so sure what you will think of it. It's very different. Brodinski took the song + fucked with it so much, that it's hard to recognize. Have fun listening to these remixes + enjoy the original/extended mix.

Goodie Mob is Back With Cee-Lo Green

I'm not going to pretend to be the biggest Goodie Mob fan. I knew they existed, growing up, but I didn't know many Goodie Mob songs. I really liked the song that they did with TLC in 1999; 'What It Ain't.' Cee-Lo Green was a part of Goodie Mob. The group got back together + performed at last week's Billboard Music Awards. The performance was really good + it made me want to find the song. It's called 'Fight to Win' + is their new single. I'm a fan of Cee-Lo's voice + he is in most of the song. It's a quality tune. Take a listen + let me know what you think.

Oliver Twizt Remixes Justin Bieber's 'Boyfriend'

Ok, Ok, Ok...Here's a little message to all the haters out there. Listen to the remix, before you judge. Oliver Twizt is a talented DJ + he did a really good job with this remix. He remixed Justin Bieber's 'Boyfriend' + made the song pretty fun. It's a complete dance anthem now. I don't hate the original, but the remix is the version that I choose to listen to. I think I can sway some of you to enjoy this...I think. Let me know what you think of it. "Swag!"

Labrinth Wants You to 'Express Yourself'

Labrinth is going to have a major UK hit with his new single, 'Express Yourself.' This pop tune is super catchy. I love it! It's a very positive tune that uses a well-known sample. It samples Charles Wright & the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band + N.W.A. The only problem I have with this song is the chorus is grammatically incorrect. Labrinth says, "whatever you do, do it good." When the song's in my head, I instinctually change up the lyrics to "do it well." Other than that though, I think the tune's perfect. I am impressed by the Lazy J remix of the song. It changes up the track's vibe. It's chill + dancey, all in one remix. Check it out.

'It's Time' for Imagine Dragons to be 'On Top of the World'

I found the perfect beach worthy song. Summer's coming + you will need some great tunes to listen to. The new alternative band, Imagine Dragons, have a hit song on the radio; 'It's Time.' It's a really awesome tune, but there's one I like even better. I found a track, 'On Top of the World' by them last week + it's becoming an instant favorite. It's chill, fun + positive. It makes me happy. It's a happy summer-worthy tune, like I said. You will agree! Enjoy it! This band is going places + I can't wait to see where they go.

Rye Rye Finally Releases 'Go! Pop! Bang!' With Help From M.I.A.

Love me some Rye Rye!!! I've been a big Rye Rye fan since 2008, when she put out 'Shake It to the Ground' with Blaqstarr. I've been waiting for her album to drop since 2009. 'Go! Pop! Bang!' surely took a long time to be released. She's been continually working on it since 2009 though. Meaning, that some of her older songs never made it on the album. It's a pretty awesome album. She got Steve Angello to produce a track for it + has guest appearances by M.I.A., Porcelain Black, Tyga, Akon, R3hab + Robyn. For her first album, that is a lot of star power. I'm proud of her for staying true to herself, throughout the years. Her music is continually evolving. She mixes hip-hop, pop + dance altogether to create 'Go! Pop! Bang!'. I picked three of my favorite songs to share with you, but you should buy her whole album. It's really good. The world can have Nicki Minaj + will take Rye Rye any day.
